Every draw can be checked by anyone

We lock in a secret number before entries close, freeze the entry list, then let a public Solana block we can't predict decide the winners. After the draw we reveal everything, so you can rerun it yourself and get the same names.

How winners are picked

  1. We seal a secret. Before each draw opens, the server makes a random 32-byte seed and publishes only its SHA-256 fingerprint.
  2. Entries freeze. 3 minutes after the draw time (16:00 UTC), every eligible wallet and its entry count is frozen into a list sorted by wallet address. The list's fingerprint is published.
  3. Solana decides. The draw uses the first finalized Solana block whose timestamp is at least 5 minutes after the draw time, and always at least 1 minute after the list was frozen. Nobody, including us, can know that block's hash when the seed and the list are fixed.
  4. Winners are rolled. For each winner slot, the roll is computed with the formula below. The person holding that entry wins and leaves the pool before the next slot is rolled.
  5. Everything is revealed. The seed, the block and the full entry list are published, and the Verify button reruns every step in your browser.
roll = SHA256("seed:blockhash:drawDate:round:slot") as a number, mod totalEntries
winner = walk the frozen list in order, counting entries, until the count passes roll

If a winner is removed for breaking the rules (for example a bot farm), only their slot is drawn again. That redraw uses a new Solana block from at least 1 minute after the request, so it can't be steered. Paid winners are never touched. Rank, $GTA6 balance and presale purchases never change entries.
